چکیده
PURPOSE. To evaluate the efficacy and safety of repeated micropulse transscleral cyclophotocoagulation (MP-TSCPC) in patients with previously operated refractory glaucoma. MATERIALS AND METHODS. We examined 89 aged 74.2±7.3 years moderate (16), advanced (58) terminal (15) stages uncompensated primary openangle glaucoma (POAG) before within 12 months after first MP-TSCPC (SUPRA 810, “Quantel Medical”, France) using standard laser parameters — 100 J. Indications for were determined 23 3 (1 patient), 6 (14 patients), 9 (8 patients) procedure. Repeated was carried out higher impact energy 125 RESULTS. After procedure, hypotensive effect achieved 66 (74.2%) lasting up to follow-up. reduced IOP by 31.2% moderate, 31.8% advanced, 22.9% (p<0.05) As a result, during observation, (single double) led stabilization 83.1% cases. CONCLUSION. Single TSCPC energies J is an effective safe method treating A single followed (laser J) 74 (83.1%) patients. It possible revise basic procedure from achieve longer at same time

Micropulse P3 Glaucoma Device Revolutionizes Cyclophotocoagulation
The newly patented MicroPulse P3 (MP3) device (Iridex) provides the surgeon a very safe and efficacious solution to treating glaucoma utilizing Iridex’s proprietary MicroPulse technology. While sharing similarities to G-Probe (Iridex), the primary advantage is the MP3 provides a kinder, gentler approach with identical efficacy yet improved safety profile.1 I have had the opportunity to be invol...
متن کاملMicropulse transscleral diode laser cyclophotocoagulation in the treatment of refractory glaucoma.
BACKGROUND Transscleral diode laser cyclophotocoagulation (TSCPC) is an established method of treatment for refractory glaucoma, but is associated with significant complications. This study evaluates the efficacy and safety of a new form of TSCPC using micropulse diode laser and trans-pars plana treatment with a novel contact probe. METHODS Prospective interventional case series of 40 eyes of...

Purpose: To present the new IRIDEX MicroPulse P3 (MP3) technology in patients with refractory glaucoma and our preliminary results at 1 week and 1 month postoperatively. Methods: IRIDEX MP3 laser cyclophotocoagulation was performed in 7 eyes of 7 patients under retrobulbar anaesthesia with lidocaine 2% in the operating room. Each eye received two treatments of 80-90s over the superior and infer...
